Allen S. Rouscher

Allen S. Rouscher, age 68, of West Manchester Township, York, died at 3:52 AM Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Select Specialty. He was the husband of Mary C. (Wire) Rouscher.

Born December 9, 1954, in York, a son of the late Ralph and Mary M. (Baublitz) Rouscher, he retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot, as Police Captain, and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He also served in the United States Army for seven years as military police during the Viet Nam War.

In addition to his wife of 40 years, Mr. Rouscher is survived by a daughter, Leah E. Rouscher, of Dover; a grandson, Nicola Maxwell; and two brothers, Ralph Rouscher, Jr., of Manchester, and Michael G. Rouscher, of Red Lion. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Rauscher, and two sisters, Naomi Jacobs, and Anaya Park.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York. Viewings will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday and 1:00-2:00 PM Tuesday. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery with military rites provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
