Andrea “Andrew” Musso, age 61, of Jacobus, passed away peacefully with family by his side at 10:40 PM Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in York.  He was the loving husband of Anna M. (Cracchiolo) Musso.

Born August 27, 1962, in Carini, Sicily, a son of the late Ambrogio and Giuseppa (Volo) Musso, he lived the American Dream. Andrea immigrated to the United States in 1979 and began to work as a pizza maker. In 2001 he and his wife opened their own pizza shop, Paesano’s Pizza, in Jacobus, fulfilling his dream of establishing his name and providing a better life for his family through hard work, determination and perseverance. Andrea loved his community and his family. He was a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, in New Freedom, and the Jacobus Lions Club, and had previously served in the Italian Army.

In addition to his wife of 32 years, Mr. Musso is survived by two daughters, Marina Musso, of Lancaster, and Josephine “Josie” Musso Phillips, and her husband Daniel, of Lancaster; a grandson who is to be born in August; a brother, Giuseppe Musso, of Carini, Sicily; a sister, Francesca Musso, of Florence, Italy; Nieces, nephews and loving extended family.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Caterina Mannino.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 12:00 noon Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 North Constitution Avenue, New Freedom, with The Rev. Samuel Miller as Celebrant.  Viewings will be 4-6:00 PM Tuesday at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, and 11:00 until 12:00 noon at the Church.  Entombment will be in Salem Union Cemetery in Jacobus.
