Anna Mae Cook, age 90, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 7:37 PM Friday, July 3, 2026, at Wellspan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Orven D. Cook.


Born March 10, 1936, in New Freedom, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn (Miller) Miller.  She was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church.


Mrs. Cook is survived by two daughters, Denise L. Rider, of York, and Vickie J. Kline, and her husband Greg, of York; four grandchildren, Abbie Heilman, and her husband Joel, Kristin Martin, Troy Rider, and his wife Sarah, and Trent Kline, and his wife Lisa; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Joines, of Stewartstown; and a brother, Charles Miller, of York. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Ford, and Kathryn McCleary; and two brothers, Robert and Dean Miller.


Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, July 13, 2026, at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, 25 West Springettsbury Avenue, York, with her Pastor, The Rev. Stanley Reep officiating. Burial will be in the Church Memorial Garden.  A reception with the family will immediately follow. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
