Ari T. Haupt, age 56, of York, died November 21, 2024, at his residence.

Born January 3, 1968, in State College, he was the son of the late Jane E. (Altland) Haupt, Thomas Haupt and stepmother Barbara Pearlman, of Jalisco, Mexico. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and his Master’s Degree from McDaniel College. He retired from teaching special education at York City School District and was currently employed at Hefty Lefty’s Hoagies and Grinders. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf with his friends, cooking, and sharing his love for music with others.

In addition to his father and stepmother, he is survived by a daughter, Sophia M. Haupt, of York; and a stepbrother, Alexander Yulish, of New York.

A memorial service is scheduled for 4:30 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County Junior Golf Association in Ari’s honor.
