Armando Vazquez

Armando Vazquez, age 74, of York, died at 2:22 PM Thursday, March 12, 2026, at York Hospital. He was the longtime partner of Virginia Orr.

Born June 1, 1951, in Puerto Rico, a son of the late Gregorio and  Carmen Vazquez, he is also survived by two daughters, Kristy Nieves, and her husband Ivan, of York, and Ruby Vazquez, of York; two sons, Carlos Vazquez, of York, and Jose Martinez, of Florida; Virginia’s children, Chrissy Orr, of York, and Ted Orr, of York; a sister, Alicia Vazquez; a brother, Noel Vazquez; as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Armando Vazquez, Jr.; and a brother, Bonito Vazquez.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements.
