Arthur Feeser Obituary

Arthur Ray Feeser Sr, 75, from Spring Grove entered the pearly gates on January 6, 2022. Art was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. He always held the door open and was always smiling. Art was also tough as nails. If you asked how he was doing or feeling he would say 'fine' even if he just had heart surgery or stitches without novacain. He served our country during the Vietnam War then came home to marry his loving wife Trudy and have two wonderful children. He worked hard as a stone mason until 2008, when he became ill. Art may have been born on July 19, 1946 but he was given another birthday (we call it his RE-birthday) November 18, 2008.  Felix the cat has got nothing on Arthur Feeser! He has had his share of close calls in his life, but God blessed us with 13 more years to make memories and love him even more. The apple of Art’s eye was his crazy jack russell Gizmo who could do no wrong in his eyes. He loved his 4-legged grandchild Buddy, who could be Gizmo’s twin. He was most proud of his 2-legged grandson Justus! His eyes lit up as he talked about the smart, outgoing, athletic young man he was becoming. Art deeply loved his family. His brother, John, sang karaoke and Art would sing along even if he couldn't keep a tune.  His brother, Jim, lived close by and he enjoyed visiting and talking with him. His favorite thing was family dinner. Art enjoyed listening to the banter of his wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and grandson. He smiled from ear to ear when his family around. When family was not around, he listened to blue grass and oldies with his wife. Collecting antiques and old cars kept him busy. Art "Moon" as his friends called him looked forward to sharing laughs and beers with his friends at street rod events and gatherings. Before his RE-birth in 2008 Art could be found tinkering with something at the house or sprucing up his yard. He shared the art of masonry with his son, Arthur Jr, who became a Mason like his dad. His daughter enjoys street rods and was his “partner in crime” at many gatherings.

Art is preceded in death by his parents John and Helen (Hildebridle) Feeser, sister-in-law Golda Feeser and Ziggy and Zoie (his 4-legged kids that would do everything with him). He is survived by his wife, Trudy, to whom he was married for 52 years, son Arthur Feeser Jr and daughter-in-law Michelle Feeser and grandson Justus Feeser, daughter Heather Feeser and son-in-law Gary Dedrick, and 4 legged grandson Buddy, his 4 legged son Gizmo, brothers John Feeser and Sterling Feeser and sister in law Deanna Feeser and many nieces and nephews.

Instead of flowers Art would want you to spend time with your loved ones and spoil your pets rotten. In addition, give to Heart Association, Alzheimer's Association, Dementia Society and most importantly our veterans.  Private service will be held at a later date with military honors.  Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.

Arthur, Art, dad, brother, grandpa and "Moon"...you are our hero and we love you!
