Arthur Bradley Kopp, age 90, of North Codorus Township, Seven Valleys, died at 1:25 PM Monday, August 18, 2025, at The Gardens at Gettysburg. He was the husband of Lourdes (DeJesus) Kopp.
Born August 6, 1935, in York, he was a son of the late Richard and Ruth (Henry) Kopp. He earned his Master’s Degree from Peabody Conservatory of Music, and was a music teacher for Baltimore City Schools and Hereford County Schools for 18 years. He then worked as an Assistant Manager for York Bank and Trust, from where he retired. He was a member of Saint John The Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom.
In addition to his wife of 65 years, Mr. Kopp is survived by three sons, Michael D. Kopp, and his wife Julie, of Thomasville, Arthur H. Kopp, and his wife Kristen, of York, and John B. Kopp, and his wife Candice, of Spring Grove; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. He was also preceded in death by two brothers Ned and C. Stanley Kopp.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Saint John The Baptist Catholic Church, 315 North Constitution Avenue, New Freedom, with The Rev. Norbert Suresh as Celebrant. Viewings will be 5-6:00 PM Tuesday at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, and 10-11:00 AM Wednesday at the Church. Burial will be in Saint John the Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greater Pennsylvania Chapter Alzheimer’s Association.
