Audrey L. Demmitt, age 82, of York, died at 2:30 PM Friday, February 7, 2025, at UPMC Memorial Hospital.  She was the wife of Raymond E. Demmitt.

Born September 26, 1943, in York, a daughter of the late Stewart W. and Carrie M Johnson, she had worked at Red Lion Controls for many years.

In addition to her husband of 60 years, Mrs. Demmitt is survived by a daughter, Debra A. Demmitt, of York; a grandson, Derek R. Caswell, and his wife Christy; one great grandson, Jaden Caswell; two step great grandchildren, Lindsey and Connor Panebaker; and sister, Bernice Overton.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, February 14, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating.  Viewing will be 1-2:00 PM.  Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
