Barbara J. Lehr, age 83, of York, died at 7:15 PM Friday, February 14, 2025, at Rest Haven-York. She was the wife of the late Rodney L. Lehr, Sr.

Born January 12, 1942, in York, a daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy (Staub) Bievenour, she had worked for Wayne Optical and York Hoover Corporation.  She was a member of American Business Women’s Association and Red Hat Society, and was an avid bowler, travelling across the United States to bowl.

Mrs. Lehr is survived by two sons, Rodney L. Lehr, Jr., and his wife Randy, of York, and Gregory A. Lehr, and his wife Pam, of Dover; four grandchildren, Tammy, Heather, Rodney, III, and Dana; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Gary Bievenour; and a sister, Chris Dixon. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Judy Dietz; and a brother, Michael Bievenour.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2025, at Prospect Hill Cemetery, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating.  Guests are invited to gather at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the Cemetery at 1:50 PM.  William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
