Barry M. Loucks, age 81, of Spring Garden Township, York, died at 9:06 AM
Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at York Hospital, surrounded by family. He was
the husband of Lynn B. (Budesheim) Loucks.
Born December 13, 1939 in York, a son of the late Ernest G. and Jennie C.
(Olewiler) Loucks, he was a graduate of William Penn High School and was
retired from Verizon (GTE) after 33 years of employment. He was a member
of the Viking Athletic Association, Victory Athletic Association, Hawk Gunning
Club, National Street Rod Association, Good Guys Hot Rod Association, and
First Capital Cruisers.
In addition to his wife of 52 years, Mr. Loucks is survived by two sons, Byron
C. Loucks, and his wife Janet, of Glenville, and Shawn C. Loucks, and his wife
Lisa, of York; five grandsons, Steven, Justin, Dylan, Tyler, and Logan; three
great grandchildren, Keanu, Keala, and Jase; a sister, Connie Miller, and her
husband Abe, of Jacobus; and two brothers, John Loucks, and his wife Jane, of
York, and Lonnie Loucks, and his companion Janelle, of York. He was also
preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lia Rene; and a brother, Robert
Loucks.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at
Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York,
with the Rev. W. Arthur Grahe officiating. Visitation will be 1-2:00 PM. Burial
will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
