Becky Kathleen Davids, 66, of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in her home surrounded by loving family.
For years she served the community as a labor and delivery nurse, a fitting role for someone with such a big heart. In her spare time she loved to cook and bake, as well as collect antiques - often restoring old pieces to their former splendor. But if you asked Becky what was most important in life, she would say, without hesitation: family.
A loving wife and mother of two boys, she spent years building her house into a home that became a cozy gathering place for holidays and family dinners. She did not ask for much - seeing her family seated around the dining room table, laughing and telling stories by the fire, baking cookies with her grandchildren - these were her most treasured gifts. And she enjoyed them all because it meant being closer to the ones she loved. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
Born in Pittsburgh, Becky was the daughter of the late Byrd and Marjorie (Emery) McCracken. Becky is survived by her husband: John; her children: Chaus and wife, Lindsey, of Gaithersburg, MD; and Benjamin and wife Andrea. Also surviving are granddaughters: Ellie and Grace Davids; and grandsons: Wyatt and Leo Davids.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church 25 West Springettsbury Avenue, York. A reception with the family will immediately follow. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
