Brenda L. Miller

Brenda L. Miller, age 85, of Manchester Township, York, died at 1:25 AM Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Jay E. Miller.

Born March 26, 1940, in York, she was a daughter of the late Roy M. and Ethel (Darr) Shewell.  She was a member of Altar House Church Prayer Outreach. She was employed by McCrory’s, PA&S Small Company, and worked for the Girl Scouts Council of York in earlier years.

Mrs. Miller is survived by three sons, Stan E. Miller, and his wife Terri, of Dover, Tyrone C. Miller, and his wife Carol, of York, and Joey J. Miller, and his wife Karen, of York; two daughters, Susan D. Wolf, and her husband Daniel of York, and Sandra L. Desenberg, and her husband Tony, of York; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Shewell; and a sister, Helen McFatridge.

Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York, with Pastor Joe Kopp officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:00 PM. Private burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
