Carla J. Diffendarfer

Carla J. Diffendarfer, age 67, of Manchester Township, York, unexpectedly died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Wellspan Gettysburg Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Wayne E. Diffendarfer.

Born December 6, 1 953 in York, she was the daughter of the late Carl E. Hunt, and the late Norma (Mitzel) Hunt-Shoff. She was retired from York City School District after 35 years of employment, and was a lifetime attendee of Faith Bible Fellowship Church.

Mrs. Diffendarfer is survived by a daughter, JulieAnn M. Hartman and her husband, Jeremy, of Gettysburg; a grandson, Cole A. M. Hartman; Goddaughter, Jennifer R. Kissick, and her wife, Kristen Stahl, of Hellam; a God granddaughter, Kari E. Stayman; two God great grandchildren, Rosemary and Kai; two sisters, Sharon J. Shoff; of York and Wanda D. Thayne and her husband Brent, of Wolverine Lake, Michigan; two nieces, Michele L. Fickling, and Jennifer Brown; a nephew, Danny L. Shoff. She was also preceded in death in death by a brother-in-law, Michael L. Shoff.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, October 23, 2021 , at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 675 Woodland View Drive, York, with Pastor Wesley Bunting, officiating. Viewing will be 9-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, are in charge of arrangements.
