Carlyn A. Dentler, age 85, of York Township, York, died at 7:15 AM Thursday, March 26, 2026, at The Residence at Fitz Farm. She was the wife of the late Ronald O. Dentler, Sr.
Born April 18, 1940, in York, she was a daughter of the late M.S. Quay and Mary (Lentz) Snyder. She was a graduate of York Hospital School of Nursing and was retired as EEG Technician/RN for York Hospital. She was a member of Longstown United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Dentler is survived by a daughter, Caroline A. Dentler, and her husband, Garth Bambling, of York; a son, Ronald O. Dentler, Jr., of York; a grandson, Andrew Geesey, and his wife Angela; a great granddaughter, Anika; and a sister, Nancy Bell, of Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle S. Dentler; and two brothers, Quay and James Snyder.
Funeral services are scheduled for 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Longstown United Methodist Church, 2975 Carol Road, York, with her Pastor, The Rev. Dave Dusthimer, officiating. Private burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
