Carmen S. Alicea, age 70, of York, died at 1:42 AM Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Wellspan York Hospital.

Born March 12, 1954, in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Celencio Alicea and the late Celestina Borges-Valentin.

She is survived by two daughters, Margarita Rivera, and her husband Francisco, of York, and Maricelis Nesbit, and her husband Daron, of York; two sons, Faustino Gonzalez, of York, and Luis Rivera, of the Philippines; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Maria Santos, and Pascuala Santos; a brother, Benito Santos; her best friend, Alba Tinoco; and Francisco Negrin and Anita Sanchez, who she raised as her own.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with Pastor Felix Ayala officiating. Viewing will be from 12:00-1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow in Mount Rose Cemetery.
