Charles T. Carbaugh, Sr., age 95, of Hellam Township, York, died at 12:18 AM Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Yorkview Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was the husband of the late Joyce I. (Van Valkenburg) Carbaugh.
Born September 7, 1929, in Columbia, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Charles J.I. and Anna (Mable) Carbaugh, he was a retired Civil Service employee with 26 years of service and continued to work for Wyeth Laboratories for 13 years. He was an avid NASCAR and Indy fan, an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed watching the Phillies.
Mr. Carbaugh is survived by two sons, Calvin Carbaugh, and Carl Carbaugh, and his wife, Kim; a daughter, Dorothy Brawley, and her husband, Paul; a brother, John D. Carbaugh, Sr.; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, Charles Carbaugh, Jr.; and a half sister Harriet Bull.
Private funeral services will be provided by Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York.
