Charles Waltmire Obituary

Charles F. Waltmire, age 87, of West Manchester Township, York, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at UPMC Memorial. He was the husband of Donna F. (McGurk) Waltmire.

Born August 16, 1934 in York, he was a son to the late Stewart E. and Ruth P. (Snelbecker) Waltmire. He had retired as an Industrial Engineer, having worked at Voith Hydro, and York Borg Warner.

In addition to his wife of 67 ½ years, Mr. Waltmire is survived by two sons, Steven W. Waltmire, and Gregory A. Waltmire, and his wife Karen; a daughter, Denise L. Arnold, and her husband Steven; two grandchildren, Abbey Yeatts and Logan Arnold; two great grandchildren, Eloise and Benjamin Yeatts; a sister, Rosalie Lacy; and a brother, William Waltmire. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Deloris Spahr and Louise Hudson.
