Charles W. Witmer, Jr.

Charles W. Witmer, Jr., age 80, of Manchester, died at 12:16 PM Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Celebrations Villa of York. He was the husband of the late Audrey M. (Kellison) Witmer.

Born January 25, 1943, in Zion’s View, he was the only child of his beloved mother, June M. (Rouscher) Witmer, of York, and the late Charles Witmer, Sr.  He was a carpenter, and had worked for Randy Poe Construction, until his eyesight declined to the point that he could not work, and ultimately became blind. Chuck is also survived by his second cousin, and best friend, Francis Arnold, of Manchester.  But above all Chuck loved his mom, who is 97 years young.
