Charlotte Jane (Rudd) Persons, age 78, of Zephyrhills, Florida, died Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Born June 16, 1946, in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Henry F. Rudd and the late Lucy B. (Lewis) Rudd Knaub.  She retired from Strine Printing after 26 years of employment and after retirement was the caretaker of her mother and stepfather, Lucy and Robert Knaub.

She is survived by a son, Paul L.C. McKinney, III, and his wife Michelle, of York; two daughters, Paula Wlazlo, and her husband Darek, of York, and Brenda Bentz, and her husband Anthony, of York; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three brothers, Michael Rudd and Joey Rudd, both of York, and Clarence Rudd, of Virginia. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean McKinney.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Pastor Josh Kleinfeld officiating.  Viewing will be 9:30-10:30 AM.  Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
