Cheryl L. Buffington, age 79, of Dover, died at 8:30 AM Monday, September 2, 2024, at UPMC Memorial. She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Buffington.

Born October 25, 1944, in Millersburg, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Sallie (Lenker) Galer, and she worked for Pfaltzgraff for ten years.

Mrs. Buffington is survived by a daughter, Lorie A. Walters, and her husband Bart, of Dover; a son, Chad A. Buffington, of Lancaster; two sisters, Linda Forney, and Donna Nelson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, David Galer and Harrold Galer, Jr.; and a sister, Cletes Hoy.
