Cletus A. Shirey Jr.

Cletus A. Shirey, Jr., age 92, of York, died at 4:18 AM Monday,
March 22, 2021 at his daughter's residence in Harrisburg. He was
the husband of the late AnnaBelle C. (Brennan) Shirey.

Born January 24, 1929 in York, a son of the late Cletus A. and
Elizabeth I. (Heaps) Shirey, he was a US Navy Veteran of WWII,
and was retired from BMY as Supervisor of Contracts Pricing.

Mr. Shirey is survived by two daughters, Brenda J. Wantland, and
her husband Raymond, of West York, and Lynnette L. Shirey, of
Harrisburg; a son, Jeffrey L. Shirey, of Columbia; eight
grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and six great great
grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Wolfgang. He was also
preceded in death by two sons, Robert A. Shirey, and David L.
Shirey; and a brother, Donald Shirey.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, March 26,
2021 at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South
George Street, York. Viewing will be 9-10:00. Burial will be in
Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with military rites presented by
the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
