Craig A. Mehring

Craig A. Mehring, age 74, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 9:20 AM Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Lynn R. (Dusman) Mehring of 38 years.

Born May 9, 1952, in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Betty J. (Grove) Mehring. He retired from BAE Systems. He was a member of the Hawks Gunning Club, graduated from Catawba College with a degree in health and physical education, was a substitute teacher, an avid tennis player and golfer, played Central League Baseball, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing, and riding his Harley.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Mehring is survived by two sons, John Mehring, and his wife, Amanda, of York, and Ryan Zimmerman; and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Brantley Mehring. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Walker, and a brother, Ron Mehring.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
