Cynthia Ann Ribarich, DVM, age 60, died on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at The Gardens at Camp Hill. 

Born July 23, 1964, in Canandaigua, New York, she was a daughter of the late Mario and Frieda (Kuhnen) Ribarich. Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with Honors from Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. In 1991, she was conferred on the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. During her doctoral program, she worked for several years as a laboratory technician in the departments of reproductive physiology and epidemiology. 

Her love of animals began on her family's thoroughbred farm in Canandaigua, New York. Cynthia was an avid reader, artist and athlete who loved beach volleyball as well as her home in sunny California, with her cats Jake and Cookie. She is the co-author of the book, Felinestein. She was generous and caring to her many friends and relatives. Most recently she practiced Veterinary Medicine at VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital in California.

Dr. Ribarich is survived by two sisters, Brenda Ribarich, and her husband Leonard Rutter, of Carlisle, and Sandra Buck, and her husband Brian, and niece Samantha of Camp Hill. She is also survived by her Uncle Helmut and his wife Flo of Ontario, Canada as well as many cousins in Canada and the United States.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA in memory of Dr. Cynthia Ann Ribarich DVM.
