Dakota A. "Bear" Gilbeau

Dakota A. “Bear” Gilbeau, age 25, of Conewago Township, York, died Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at his residence.

Born February 10, 1998, in York, a son of Tammy E. (Ilyes) Bupp, of York and the late Arthur J. Gilbeau, he had been employed at Aaron Enterprises Inc. and prior to that was employed by Evans Burial Vault. He was a former member of the Wago Club and enjoyed fishing and camping. He was always known for giving bear hugs and loved being with his friends and family.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Gilbeau is survived by three brothers, Travis, Clarence, and Christopher Bupp; and a sister, DeEtta Bupp, all of York.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Gifford Pinchot State Park, Quaker Race Day Use Area, Pavilion 4, Lakeview in Lewisberry, with The Rev. David Tietje officiating.  William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
