Dale E. Ritter

Dale E. Ritter, age 73, of Conewago Township, York, died Monday, January 5, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Karen L. (Zech) Ritter.

Born November 13, 1952, in York, he was a son of Donna J. (Ness) Ritter, of York, and the late Phillip R. Ritter, Jr. He was self-employed as a roofer at his company Ritters Roofing and Siding, an avid hunter and fisherman, an Eagle Scout, a member of York Harley Davidson Association, and a coin collector.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Ritter is survived by two sons, David G. Ritter, of York, and Chad R. Zech of Arkansas; a daughter, Lexie L. Dill; three grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Ritter and Darryl Ritter; and a sister, Donna Hinkle. He was preceded in death by a brother David Ritter.

Funeral services are to be scheduled for a later date. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
