Daryl D. Penley, age 86, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 12:55 AM Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Autumn House East. She was the wife of the late Jim K. Penley.

Born January 30, 1939, in Goodyear, Cumberland County, a daughter of the late Robert and Doretta (Taylor) Starner, she retired as a Head Cook for William Penn High School after 29 years of employment.

Mrs. Penley is survived by two sons, Scott L. Penley, and his wife Susan, of York, and Jimmy K. Penley, and his wife Cathy, of Post Falls, Idaho; a daughter, Monique S. Stough, and her husband Ronald, of York; a brother, Robert G. Starner, Jr., of Melbourne, Florida; two sisters, Roxy Group, of Carlisle, and Vonnie Attig, of East Berlin; three grandchildren, Matthew Penley, Travis Penley, and Sarah Oast; seven great-grandchildren, Madyson Penley, Lathan Penley, Levi Penley, Nolan Penley, Henry Oast, Ezekiel Penley, and George Oast.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, July 25, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2740 Roosevelt Ave, York, PA 17408, with her Pastor, Jesse Logganss officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be private. Arrangements provided by Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 2740 Roosevelt Ave, York, PA 17408.
