David A. Appleby

David A. Appleby, age 55, of Dover Township, Dover, died at 9:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2024, at Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Jessica I. (Worley) Appleby.

Born January 8, 1969, in York, he was a son of the late Ivan E. and Joanne E. (Emig) Appleby.

In addition to his wife of 25 years, Mr. Appleby is survived by a brother, Brian K. Appleby; a sister, Cheryl A. Myers, and her husband Joe E.; nephew, Vincent Myers, and his wife Vicki, and great niece, Isla Myers, and nephew, Mitchell Myers.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, are in charge of private funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
