Deanna M. Denniston Obituary

Deanna M. Denniston, age 88, of York Township, Dallastown, died at 3:40 PM Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Wellspan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late James A. Denniston.


Born February 11, 1937, in South Bend, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Gaston and Wilma (Dennison) Tatum.  She was the co-founder of Village Realty and was a member of Bethlehem Church in Dallastown.


Mrs. Denniston is survived by three daughters, Wendy L. Deimler, and her husband John, of Dallastown, Bridget M. McAuliffe, and her husband Brian, of Dallastown, and Beth A. Pinto, and her husband Michael, of West Grove; a son-in-law, Thomas Y. Thornton; eleven grandchildren, Tatum, Zachary, Chelsea, Deanna, Sara, Kelly, Keegan, Brinn, Bree, Emily, and Abigail, and twelve great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gretchen D. Thornton; a grandson, Taylor Y. Thornton; and three sisters, Catherine Brohl, Jeanette Frazier, and Patty Tatum.


Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Bethlehem Church, 109 East Main Street, Dallastown, with her Pastor, The Rev. David Stough officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
