Dennis E. C. Hoin, age 72, of Newberry Township, Manchester, and Umatilla, Florida, died at 1:14 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of Patti J. (Kenworthy) Hoin.

Born April 22, 1952, in York, the son of the late Walter L. and Loretta M. (Gundy) Hoin, he retired as a manager for Pennsylvania Power and Light. He was an avid Penn State fan and was a member of Loyal Moose Golden Triangle Lodge 874 in Eustis, Florida, Shiloh American Legion Post #791, Goldsboro Fireman’s Club, and the Hawk Gunning Club.

In addition to his wife of nearly 54 years, Mr. Hoin is survived by two sons, Adam C. Hoin, of Manchester, and Matthew J. Hoin, of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Lynne M. Dennis, of Strinestown; many nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Trina Leiphart and her husband Chris, of York, and their children Lindsey and Tim.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, April 11, 2025, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc, 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM.  Burial will be private.
