Diane R. Berkheimer, age 86, of York Township, York, died at 10:20 PM Sunday, November 10, 2024, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Berkheimer.

Born March 12, 1938, in Oneida, New York, she was the only child of the late Willis R. and Helen M. (Weber) Kenyon.  She served as Tax Collector for York Township for more than 12 years and, prior to that, for Attorney Donald Puckett for 8 years. She had also worked as the secretary treasurer for a western Pennsylvania township. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, York County Area Agency of Aging, the Republican Club of York, and the Women’s Republican Club of York.

Mrs. Berkheimer is survived by a son, Jeffrey R. Davidson, of Wilmington, North Carolina; and a granddaughter Amanda. She was also preceded in death by a son, Wade H. Davidson; and a granddaughter, Olivia.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with The Reverend Katherine Seiler officiating. Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
