Dolores J. Roberts

Dolores J. Roberts, age 87, of West York, died at 12:30 PM Friday, February 7, 2025, at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.  She was the wife of the late Melvin E. Roberts, Sr.

Born November 13, 1937, In York, a daughter of the late Blaine A. Barber, and the late Geraldine (Guhl) Hall, she worked for many years for the Roosevelt Tavern, and the Lincoln Woods Inn.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by two daughters, Jean M. Williams, and her husband Chris, of York, and Mary E. Roberts, of York; a son Melvin E. Roberts, Jr., and his wife Deb, of Shiloh; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Samantha Jo Roberts; a great grandson, Austin Massam; two brothers, Ronald Barber and Curtis Barber; and a sister, Mary E. Barber.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating. Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Livestream of services will be available at www.facebook.com/KuhnerAssociates
