Dolores M. Roberts, age 94, of Conewago Township, Manchester, died at 9:09 PM Friday, January 24, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of Franklin T. Roberts and the late Bradley A. Smith.

Born August 3, 1930, in York, she was the daughter of the late Guernsey and Arline (Folcomer) Plunkett.  She was retired from McCrory’s Distribution and was a member of the former Grace United Church of Christ, and Northeastern Senior Center.  She had a passion for reading and was a regular guest at the Red Land Community Library.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by two grandchildren, Adam J. Smith and his wife Amanda, of Spring Grove, and Danielle J. Snyder, and her husband Bret, of Manchester; two great grandchildren, Dalton Snyder, and Oliver Smith; and her daughter-in-law, Linda Smith. She was also preceded in death by a son, Byron B. Smith; and a brother, Burnell Plunkett.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2025, at Prospect Hill Cemetery, with The Rev. Dr. Eddie D.D. Miller officiating. Guests are invited to gather at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the Cemetery.  Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc, 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
