Donald E. Doutrich

Donald Eugene Doutrich, age 81, of York Township, York, died at 8:15PM Friday, April 7, 2023, at Rest Haven Rehab and Nursing. He was the husband of Mary Ann R. (Rohrer) Doutrich.

Born January 27, 1942, in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Clarence R. “Robert” and Lillian (Funk) Doutrich.  He was a 1959 graduate of Penn Manor High School and, after graduation, began his career in the mechanical contractor profession.  He then served in the US Navy from 1963-1966.  After serving in the Navy, he returned to mechanical contracting, and ultimately retired as the owner of The Yorkair Group. He was a member of Aldersgate Church, Mount Holly Fish and Game, and The Izaak Walton League.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, Mr. Doutrich is survived by two sons, Gregory A. Doutrich, and his wife Michelle, of York, and Jeffrey L. Doutrich, of York; two grandchildren, Austin G. Doutrich and Marissa L. Doutrich; and two brothers, Barry Doutrich and Kenneth Doutrich, both of Lancaster.
