Donald E. Reichert, Jr.

Donald E. Reichert, Jr., age 70, of Conewago Township, York, died at 4:42 PM Thursday, January 29, 2026, at his residence.

Born April 20, 1955, in York, he was a son of the late Donald E. and Josephine (Gladfelter) Reichert.  He was a graduate of York Vo Tech and had worked a machinist.  He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Reichert is survived by two sons, Jonathan R. Reichert, of York, and Jason E. Reichert, and his wife Katrina, of York; two daughters, Crystal R. Sheffer, of York, and Racheal Burkett, and her husband Danny, of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren, Brandy, Ryan, Brooklynn, Deven, Richard, Ida, and Donald; a sister, Brenda Gladfelter, of Dillsburg; a stepbrother, Kenneth Reichert, of Abbottstown; and a stepsister, Joyce Kline, of Hanover. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. Reichert, and Jeffrey L. Reichert; and a stepsister, Pam Alwine.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Manchester Community Building, 96 South Liverpool Street, Manchester. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is assisting with arrangements.
