Donald E. Sprenkle, age 90, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 8:49 PM Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Autumn House East. He was the husband of the late Sandra J. (Hartman) Sprenkle.

Born February 19, 1935, in York, he was a son of the late Charles H. Sprenkle, Sr. and the late Gladys R. (Spickler) Sprenkle.  He was employed by Ettline Foods for 24 years and, prior to that, Standard Register for 17 years. He was a life member of Viking Athletic Association and member of York Archers and Prince Athletic Association.

Mr. Sprenkle Is survived by two sons, Douglas A. Sprenkle, and his wife Ann, of York, and Dean B. Sprenkle, of York; a grandson, Justin Sprenkle; and a brother, Gordon D. Sprenkle, and his wife Bonnie, of York; sister-in-law, Linda Sue Phillips, and her husband Jeffrey, of Hellam; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles H. Sprenkle.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating. Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
