Doris M. Russell, age 83, of Spring Garden Township, York, died at 11:03 PM Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Inners Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dallastown. She was the wife of John Russell.

Born September 15, 1941, in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, she was one of fourteen children of the late Rogelio Sandoz and Jovita Flores, and earned her Associates Degree from Harvard University.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Russell is survived a daughter Lusbelle “Cookie” Hernandez, of Kissimmee, Florida; and a son, Jose Lopez-Sandoz, of Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
