Doris “Jeanne” Gohn, age 90, of West Manchester Township, York, left to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, at 9:30 PM Monday, June 10, 2024.  Jeanne was living with her son Charles, his wife Gloria, and their children in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was the wife of the late Robert N. Gohn.

Jeanne was born September 19, 1933, in Juniata, PA.  She was one of twelve children of the late John and Mary Edith (Roland) McCartney.  Jeanne devoted most of her early years to the raising of her four sons and also worked as a credit officer for Agway Petroleum. In her later years, Jeanne and her husband Robert enjoyed traveling, loving the families of their four sons, and volunteering their time for eternal purposes. Jeanne was a dedicated member of York Bible Church and a lover of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.

Jeanne is survived by four sons:  Robert N. Gohn, Jr. and his wife Becky “Becca” of York, PA, Stephen M. Gohn and his wife Sue of Plano, Texas, Charles E. Gohn and his wife Gloria of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Douglas J. Gohn and his wife Wendy of Orlando, Florida; seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Paul McCartney, of Phoenix, Arizona.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, June 21, 2024, at York Bible Church, 890 Taxville Road, York, with her pastor, Dr. David E. Sutter, officiating. The viewing will also be at York Bible Church from 4-6:00 PM Thursday, June 20th and 9-10 AM Friday.  The burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens following the funeral.  Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, will be presiding over the activities.
