Dorothy C. Haydon
West Manchester Township - Dorothy C. Haydon, age 80, of West Manchester Township, York, died at 4:05 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Wellspan York Hospital.
Born December 4, 1940 in Saltville, Virginia, she was preceded in death by her father, James W. Haydon; mother, Alice (Pruitt) Wynegar; and stepfather, Lyhue Wynegar, Sr.
Ms. Haydon is survived by three brothers, Lloyd W. Haydon, Charles "Jimmy" Haydon, and Lyhue Wynegar Jr., all of York; a sister, Peggy Knaggs, of Mechanicsville, Virginia; four nieces and seven nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home, 148 East Main Street, Saltville, Virginia. Viewing will be 10-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery, Glade Spring, Virginia. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York is in charge of arrangements.
