Dorothy M. Majors, age 102, of West Manchester Township, York died at 8:55 PM Monday September 1, 2025, at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Newell Majors.

Born January 4, 1923, in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late Stewart and Signe Elvera (Larson) McCarty, she is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Kennedy, of York; a granddaughter, Jessica Reed, and her husband Bryan; and three great grandchildren, Aiden, Brady, and Chase. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Gary Kennedy; and three sisters, Mary Lindsey, Virginia Kearns, and Ruth Stevens.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Saint John the Baptist Church, 140 North Beaver Street, with The Rev’d. Eric Hillegas officiating. Burial will be in the church memorial garden. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
