Douglas A. Hake

Douglas A. Hake, age 66, of Dover Township, Dover, died December 24, 2023, at his residence.

Born September 12, 1957, in York, he was a son of Betty J. (Adams) Hake, of Dover, and the late Roy L. Hake.  He retired from York Water Company, after more than 30 years of employment, and was a member of the Yellow Breeches Anglers and Conservation Association, and the York Rifle Range Association.

Mr. Hake is survived by two daughters, Mandy L. Smith, and her husband Aaron, of Dillsburg, and Amy M. Bates, and her husband Bryan, of York; four grandchildren, Nora and Nolan Bates, and Lyla and Bennett Smith; his former spouse, Stephanie (Harbold) Hake, of York; and a brother, Gary L. Hake, of Mount Wolf.

Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 AM Saturday, December 30, 2023, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York, with Pastor Jim Dinger officiating. Viewing will be from 8:30-9:30 AM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
