E. Glade Taylor

E. Glade Taylor, age 91, of York, died at 5:10 PM Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Normadie Ridge.  She was the wife of the late Rev. J. Paul Taylor.

Born November 15, 1930 in Spangler, Cambria County, a daughter of the late Victor L. and Twila (McCall) Fronk, she was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the former United Methodist Women.

Mrs Taylor is survived by two daughters, Carol J. Staley, and her husband Lonnie, of York, and Donna L Taylor, of York; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a brother, John A. “Jack” Fronk, of Stow, Ohio.   She was also preceded in death by two sons, James P. Taylor, and David W. Taylor; a daughter, Janice R. Johnson; three brothers, Robert, Victor and Donald Fronk; and three sisters, Lois Gonzalez, Ruth Lamkie, and Dorothy Fetterman.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York, with her Pastor, The Rev. Dale Parker, and The Rev. Drew Sherman officiating.  Visitation will be 9-10:00 AM. Private Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.  Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
