Eleanor M. Linebaugh

Eleanor M. Linebaugh, age 77, of Dover Township, Dover, died at 12:20 AM Thursday, September 17, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of Grayson E. Linebaugh.

Born December 21, 1948, in York, she was a daughter of the late William and Eleanor M. (Berkebile) Shenberger. She retired as a Shift Supervisor for SpiriTrust Lutheran and prior to that, worked for AMP and its successor, Tyco. She was a member of Saint Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church.

In addition to her husband of 45 years, Eleanor is survived by two daughters, Laura A. Bell, of York and Mary E. Mueller, and her husband Monroe, of Dover; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; a brother, William Shenberger, of York Haven; and two sisters, Mary Hughes, of York, and Sue Ann Hines, of Thomasville. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Gentzler.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2026, at Saint Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church, 309 South George Street, York, with The Rev. John Kuchinski as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York, is in charge of arrangements.
