Eleanor M. “Vickie” Godfrey, age 85, of York, died at 4:12 AM Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at her residence.

Born February 13, 1941, in York, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Glosser) Kolsovsky.  She retired from Danskin after 31 ½ years of employment and was a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.

Mrs. Godfrey is survived by two daughters, Denise Sleeger, and her husband Mearl, of York, and Kimberly Anderson, and her husband Timothy, Jr., of Red Lion; a son, Thomas Godfrey, and his wife Nancy, of Dallastown; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Herbert, and Steven Kolsovsky; and a sister, Bonnie Ridley.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 309 South George Street, York, with The Rev. John Kuchinski as Celebrant. Viewing will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, and 12:00-1:00 PM Thursday at the Church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
