Elizabeth J. Rudolph, age 78, of York, died at 5:24 AM Sunday, July 27, 2025, at UPMC Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late David P. Rudolph

Born September 14, 1946, in York, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret (Bowker) Akin.  She retired from BAE Systems in January, where she worked as a writer, and was a member of the Vigilant Social Club.

Mrs. Rudolph is survived by two sons, David P. Rudolph, and his wife Tina, of York, and Joseph W. Rudolph, and his wife Crystal, of Lebanon; two grandchildren, David Martin and Lillian Rayne; three great grandchildren, Adalynn, Jameson, and Maverick. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ronald, Michael, Jerry, and Edward Akin.

Private funeral arrangements are provided by Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street York, with burial in Mount Rose Cemetery.
