Elnora J. Pappas, age 90, of Manchester, died at 1:15 PM Friday, December 19, 2025, at Pappus House in Thomasville. She was the wife of the late Guss G. Pappas.
Born April 22, 1935, in Royalton, Dauphin County, a daughter of the late Edgar L. and Charlotte J. (Meinsler) Updegraff, she was retired as the owner and operator of The Miracle Shop furniture upholstery shop.
Mrs. Pappas is survived by two sons, Steven S. Pappas, and his wife, Robin, of York, and Matthew E. Pappas, and his wife Stephanie, of Red Lion; a daughter, Jennifer E. Snyder, and her husband, Scott, of Dover; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Kristen, Joshua, KateLynne, Brady and Jesse; and five great-grandchildren, Noel, Aeryn, Rey, Noah, and Oliver. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte A. “Todd” Kemper.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Valley View Alliance Church, 200 Alliance Avenue, Hellam, with Pastors Gary Smith and Ross Dunk officiating. Viewings will be from 4:00-6:00 PM Monday at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester and 1:00-2:00 PM Tuesday at the church. Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
