Ervin M Moultrey

Ervin M. Moultrey, age 85, of York, died Sunday, September 24, 2023, at UPMC Memorial.  He was the husband of the late Rose “Sue” (Kennedy) Moultrey.
Born June 11, 1938, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Louis M. and Martha (Washington) Moultrey, he had worked for the Hotel Yorktowne, York Hospital, and as security for the former Starlight Bar.  In his younger years he played basketball, participated in martial arts, and loved to dance.
Mr. Moultrey is survived by his children, Carol “Boots”, Bridgette, and Yolanda Moultrey, Michelle Sexton, Melanie Barton, and Michael and Marty Hawkins; grandchildren; great grandchildren; a sister, Faith Taylor; two special nieces, Zinda Powell, and Torry Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.  He was also preceded in death by a two children, Veronica Jiles, and Toby Moon; and five siblings, Ace, Bruce, Joseph and Louis “Sonny” Moultrey, and Constance Mack.
A viewing will be held from 5-7:00 PM Friday at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York.
