Ethel M. Wolfgang

York - Ethel M. Wolfgang, age 93, of York, died at 6:42 AM Sunday, March 14, 2021 at SpiriTrust Lutheran in The Village at Sprenkle Drive. She was married to the late Floyd E. Wolfgang for 57 years who passed away in 2008.

Born March 25, 1927 in Manchester Township, a daughter of the late William H. and Helen (Hartman) Myers, she graduated from North York High School and Shippensburg State Teacher's College in 1948 where she met her husband. She was an elementary school teacher in York City, Cub Scout Den Mother, Order of the Eastern Star member, dedicated Sunday School teacher for 50 years, and lifelong member of Quickel Lutheran Church, Zion's View.

Mrs. Wolfgang is survived by her sister, Joyce E. Myers, of York; two sons, Thomas W. Wolfgang, and his wife Deborah, of Wellsville, and David F. Wolfgang, and his wife Rita, of Harrisburg; and four grandchildren, Billy, Andy, Michael and Margo.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, March 18, 2021 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, Shiloh, with her Pastor, The Rev. Roy Stetler, officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
