Eugene W. Weitkamp

Eugene W. Weitkamp, age 74, of Dover, died at 4:47 PM Tuesday, December
29, 2020 at his residence. He was the husband of Beverly A (Wueschinski)
Weitkamp.

Born October 30, 1946 in York, he was a son to the late Lester and Helen
(Burger) Weitkamp. He had served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War,
and was retired from Johnson Controls after 36 years of employment. He was
a member of Bible Baptist Church, Twelfth Ward Independent Democratic
Club, Rooster Social Club, and Shiloh American Legion Post 791.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, Mr. Weitkamp is survived by a daughter,
Darla J. Snelbacker, and her companion Doug, of York; a son, Mark E.
Weitkamp, and his wife Jennifer, of York; four grandchildren, Cierra, Taylor,
Samson, and Katelynn; one great grandson, Landon; and two brothers, Alan
Weitkamp and Ricky Lee Weitkamp. He was also preceded in death by a
brother, John Weitkamp.

A graveside service is scheduled for 12:30 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at
Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with military honors presented by the York
County Veterans Honor Guard., Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and
Cremation, Inc. 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
