Francis B. “Frank” Kreitz, age 80, of Dover, died at 5:10 AM Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of Linda D. (Webb) Kreitz.

Born November 1, 1943, in Hanover, a son of the late Bernard and Pauleen (Peterson) Kreitz, he was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School, and then served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He worked for PA & Small, and Goodyear Tire, and was a member of the West Manchester VFW Post #7374.

In addition to his wife of 60 years, and his love for all things Notre Dame and Johnny Cash,  Mr. Kreitz is survived by three sons, Douglas C. Kreitz, and his wife Heather, of West York, and Anthony B. Kreitz, and his wife Kelly, of Hampstead, Maryland, and Dana W. Kreitz, of New Cumberland; six grandchildren, Bryce, Meryssa, Bailey, Abby, Abbey, and Cassidy; a great grandson, Noah; three brothers, Wayne, Owen, and Gary Kreitz; and a sister, Bonnie Auchey. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Kreitz; and a sister, Genevieve Small.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Cornerstone Bible Church, 3500 Cardinal Lane, Dover, with Pastor Matthew Sandorfi officiating.  Entombment will be June 13, 2024, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with military honors. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York, are in charge of arrangements.
