Frederick B. Lowe, Jr.

Frederick B. Lowe, Jr. age 92, of Springettsbury Township, York, died Monday, December 27, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Leik) Lowe.

Born March 1, 1929 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Frederick B. and Audra (Patrick) Lowe.  A Licensed Professional Engineer, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Tech, and later earned a second Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.  He was retired from Allied-Signal Aerospace, and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and Keystone VHF (amateur radio) Club.  He was also a former member of the Springettsbury Lions Club.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, Mr. Lowe is survived by three daughters, Pamela A. Munguia, of Reston, Virginia, Karen L. DeMarinis, and her husband Frank, of Wayne, New Jersey, and Paula D. Lowe, of Hillsborough, North Carolina; and four grandchildren, Ryan Miklos, Hunter Munguia, Patrick DeMarinis and Anna DeMarinis. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Bryson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York. Viewing will be 1-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
